Level II Advanced Technician

New openings for union Advanced NDT Technician for our new crane and structural inspection service line! All applicants are required to have their CWI and UT certifications. This is an an union position and includes healthcare and pension!

The main duties include:

• Perform complete NDT field inspections based on customer requirements and procedures, JANX field procedures, focusing on quality, safety, and radiation safety as applicable.
• Perform advanced NDT field inspections such as CWI and UT Shearwave in the crane and structural inspection markets, based on customer requirements and procedures, JANX field procedures and being able to fully operate and interpret results based on advanced NDT methods.
• Ensure all equipment is set up, calibrated, and functional at all times in line with JANX and customer procedures.
• Operate advanced NDT equipment including calibration, field execution and basic troubleshooting to ensure compliance and quality at all times while performing work.
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications, both conventional and advanced NDT.

Pay range for this job is based on the current Collective Bargaining Agreement and  is a general guideline only for States that enforces pay transparency and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. • High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in NDT industry is required.
• Experience in NDT inspections for the structural and crane inspection markets.

• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

• Ability to be certified in accordance with JANX SNT-TC-1A in a Level II certification in UT.
• CWI Required.
• MT Preferred.
• Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program.
