We have several openings for Pipeline Integrity Technicians for upcoming work! You can be located anywhere in the US as long as you have the ability to travel. This is a union position with free healthcare, a pension that is 100% employer paid, and a sign on bonus!
The main duties include:
- Perform complete NDT field inspections based on customer requirements and procedures, JANX field procedures, focusing on quality, safety, and radiation safety as applicable.
- Perform advanced NDT field inspections such as Pipeline Integrity, CWI, Laser Scanning, Corrosion Mapping and UT Shearwave based on customer requirements and procedures, JANX field procedures and being able to fully operate and interpret results based on advanced NDT methods.
- Interpret ILI data and client provided dig sheet.
- Inspect and interpret readings as required in real time, to determine areas of interest.
- Fill out daily inspection reports and documentation in compliance with company specific and client specific procedures
- Ensure all equipment is set up, calibrated, and functional at all times in line with JANX and customer procedures.
Skillsets:
- Experience in pipeline integrity required.
- Experience with Creaform 3D Laser highly preferred.
- Ability to be certified in accordance with JANX SNT-TC-1A as a Level II in MT and UT-SW.
- Level II PAUT preferred.
- Level II MMT HSD preferred.
- API QUTE-TM / QUPA certifications preferred but not required.
